Job Description
Quail Run Primary School is an environmentally responsible and multi-sensory learning center that empowers students to be accountable for their educational journey. If you are a highly motivated teacher wanting to implement our fun and rigorous academic program, we invite you to apply for this teaching position.

Elementary teachers are responsible for collaborative lesson planning, classroom instruction, student discipline, after-school activity sponsorship and school-to-home communications. Instead of teaching in a self-contained classroom, elementary teachers co-teach with subject area specialists and rotate with their students to specialized areas of the school (Music Hall, Dance Studio, Science Lab, Writer's Workshop, etc.)

Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications
Qualified applicants will hold a current Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Utah Professional Educator License with an “Elementary: K-6”, “Elementary: 1-8”, or “Early Childhood: K-3” Area of Concentration. Teachers who hold endorsements to teach multiple subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. An ideal candidate is willing to learn Spanish and American Sign Language, is familiar with the Utah State Core Curriculum for first through fifth grades, and embodies the philosophy that children should both have fun at school and be academically challenged.

It is essential that interested applicants be committed to a collaborative, co-teaching model in an inquiry-based and technology focused educational program graded on a standards/outcome based grading system. • Work successfully in partnership with other stakeholders including board trustees, school administrators, co-teachers, paraeducators and parent volunteers?
